clinic volunteer info

Volunteers are an essential
component of the RC Free Clinic

Without our volunteer Clinical Providers, the clinic would not exist. Non-clinical volunteers ease the burden of preparing for special events, maintaining community communication and numerous other tasks that can overwhelm our small staff.
The Free Clinic provides an opportunity for skilled volunteers to care for the members of their community. Our volunteers are passionate about sharing their gifts to help someone in need and understand the importance of creating a caring and supportive environment which includes empowering others to take responsibility for their health.
We have an ongoing need for clinical volunteers. Some of our providers can only conduct 1 clinic per month, others can provide 1 per week. This is perfectly fine. We do not dictate the Provider schedule. The Provider gives us their availability and we make it work! We do ask that our volunteers commit to a minimum of 1 clinic per month to be considered as active.
If you would like to take the next step and submit a Volunteer Application, please complete the appropriate documents provided following the remittance instructions.

If you are unsure and would like to discuss a volunteer opportunity in more detail, please contact Tia Poalino at 802-774-1085 or e-mail [email protected].
